The Duc de Richleau (Christopher Lee) and Rex Van Ryn (Leon Greene) arrive at a party thrown by de Richleau’s protégé, Simon (Patrick Mower), only to discover that the party is actually the gathering of a Satanic cult, led by the high priest Mocata (Charles Gray), who plans to initiate the beautiful young Tanith (Nike Arrighi) that night. Richleau and Van Ryn must defeat the devil-worshiping Mocata and save young Tanith and Simon from a terrible fate.

Welcome back to another diabolical devil movie! This one was quite the guilty pleasure as it is a Hammer film, with a decent pedigree, that neither of us had ever seen. Join us as we talk about the mechanics of Matheson’s script, Fisher’s confidence behind the camera, and a cast featuring two Bond villains! Listen, as Johnny Has the Keys travels to the English countryside, where the folks at the neighboring estate might be up to more than just a pleasant picnic!
